Thanksgiving Weekend

First of all I had such a amazing weekend with all of my families. On Wednesday I visited my second mom Tracie and we did some serious girl talk and a little bit of scrap booking :) We always work that way first day we just pretty much talk and second day we are always productive. We talked about how she is really happy that I am finally moving on and that she is excited to finally meet Drew. It had already been that plan that I would spend thanksgiving with Drew's family and my soon to be family. Mrs. Judie spent all night cooking and cleaning, she is just so sweet. The food was fantastic! I especially loved the dressing and the pumpkin pie. We watched the cowboys win :) of course :) and played a game of marbles before we left to go to Katy to do some shopping. My best friend Meaghan finally has a boyfriend :) so he came down for thanksgiving and we met at her house and went hot tubing and then shopping. I didn't buy much just a bow that is baylor green, pj's I found for my mom. After a while we stopped at the former FYE store which is now and arcade. We had a air hockey championship. Drew won of course. It was so nice to have another couple to hang out with :) I really enjoyed getting to know Micheal too seems like a good guy and my best friend desires the BEST. At walmart I got the stuff on my mom's list  and was really shocked that there were not more people I mean it was 3 am but still. M & M (meaghan and micheal ) were getting tired so we went back to her house and picked up my car and Drew and I went to Target. I found some cheap DVD's and we got a football for use to play with and I got a nice new planner for the new year. We went home and crashed! Friday my mom cooked thanksgiving for our family plus M&M.  We had a great night filled with great food, a game of football and we watched meet the parents!

Trip down memory Lane

I'm home :) Had a fantastic dinner with my dad at Lupe Tortilla we had fajitas for two with amazing guacamole. The drive wasn't bad partially because I didn't have to actually drive. Drew and I pulled out a calendar and really looked at dates. My favorite date is 11/11/12, I love the  idea of having an 11/11 anniversary but it is possibly taken since everyone likes that. Drew likes 12/20/12 and 4/20/13 so we will see what happens. I'm watching sister wives with my mom right now talk about interesting show. This guy had four wives which most men I'm pretty sure they could not handle that . They went on vacation and each wife had a different hotel room and they all have different houses which I would think that you would just like  have one house. They also are christen which continues to baffle me. Any way here is some pictures from this weekend.

So Baby Suzie I got when I was like 2-3 ish but I used to chew her fingers so these particular one was like number 3 I think . I got her in Houston after Suzie started leaking at Moody Garden's while we were visiting my aunt Renee. I also went though an old box of my school things and cards it was really a nice trip down memory lane.

It's 5 o'clock in the morning...

I am really bad at sleeping at night which will be great when I am finally a night nurse. Not great when I have things to do in the morning. I am officially off for thanksgiving break and was suppose to drive to Waco today but it was pouring rain and dark so I decided I would just leave in the morning. I instead did some intense organizing of my styles for Photoshop. I have primarily used my Photo shop elements 7 for the last 3ish years but pretty recently am slowly using CS4 more and more. I wrote down the pages I want to do in order for Drew and I's book and Josh's book. I really can't wait to finish a scrapbook it will be excited to have completeled my assissment. I have been doing alot of blog research to see what people write and how they use their blog. I also did alot of pinning on pintrest this weekend. I got some ideas for both so in future blog posts, I want to do a 22 before I'm 23 list and buckle list. The weekend was awsome due to the fact that baylor won against OU in the last 08 seconds. Also Baylor has never beaten OU ever!!! We rushed the field of course and Drew's mom and I actually took pictures with a few of the football players.  I have been greater great ideas for Drew's and I's hopefully future wedding. We are both thinking decemeber with white, black, and icy blue as our colors. I want the bridemaids to have some diversity so I will probably have to pick another color. I head to houston tomorrow and this is the tenitive plan

Update

Drama in my household, Idk why everything seems to go to hell before I come home! Seriously every time ! I am so excited to almost be done with these semester It was a rough more and I will be starting my last semester every and I totally can not believe it. I made some really big emotional steps this week in regards to my former relationship, we have officially stopped speaking and I'm really ok with that. I understand we both have our own lives to live, He has a baby and I have a serious relationship which I will be taking big steps with. I truly wish him the best and don't hold what happened between us against him. I have had a chance to scrapbook quite a bit more like I have been making time for it. Most of my big work has already been done and I don't have a test till finals time. In some big news Drew finally has a plane ticket to come to ABQ with my family! I am super excited for everyone to meet him and I know they are gonna love him. I was originally going to stay in Dallas for the weekend but I talk to my dad and he said that I should go to Waco if there is a football game so I surprised Drew and drove down with a good friend of mine. He was totally sleeping when I got here. Today I scrapbook a page of Alex, me and my dad gardening. When we lived in Oklahoma my dad had a huge garden and grow all his own vegetables. When we moved to Houston he was honestly just too busy to enjoy gardening but last spring break he said he was gonna plant a couple flowers and some vegetables in the backyard and told Alex he had to help. It brought back alot of memories from when I was little and used to help him. Alex was good for the most part till he discovered the ANTS. My life is pretty boring lol. I finally got drew to clean out the closet today so that I can fit some of my own stuff !! YAY.

Debi's Birthday

So I was in the NICU for clinical last week which of course I loved. There is just something about tiny babies in incubators that melt my heart. I cared for a little girl that was 3 months old and was recovering from NEC. My other baby was a 12 day old and he had multiple congenital deformities. He had both a cleft palate and lip and hydrocephalus. The baby will sadly probably die due to a very small brain. I also observed two twins that were approx. 425 grams which is less than a pound. They were so tiny I love them. I can't wait to spend my days taking care of these little angels and their families.

Meaghan and Drew got her on Thursday and we didn't do much just hang out and then ran to the grocer store to get me some food since my lovely friends got Whatburger and forgot me. :p Debi got here on Friday morning after her chiropractor  appointment. By the time we got ready it was around 4-5ish and Meaghan really wanted these shoes from journey's. I also wanted to get some underwear at victoria secret. They were having the 7 for 26 special. I also spluged on a pair of cowboys panties that say america's team on them.  I also found the cutest cowboys long sleeve t-shirt to wear with my sweat pants which was on sale for 50 % off.  I also discover a cowboys bra which I had to force myself not to sell my soul to buy.After finishing at the mall we drove to Rowlett, Tx for their Chinese buffet. It was so delicious they had all you can eat crab legs and edemama which I ate a ton of. Drew and Meaghan didn't particularly like it . After we finished eating Meaghan wanted to go by a gas station to get lottery cards. Both Meaghan and Drew played a few cards but either made a profit. After we got home Debi showed us her onesie and of course I wanted one. We convinced drew and debi to go to Walmart and the ONESIE TWINS were born. We had to go to two different walmarts but we all found one. When we got home we all changed into our onsies and had a mini photo shoot. Saturday was when I had planned Debi's surprise birthday. We took forever to get ready and didn't leave my apartment till almost 2100. Debi was surprised so it was an success. Amanda, her boyfriend and the ninja's all showed up.  Overall ,weekend was a success. Looking forward to thanksgiving next week.

Homecoming weekend

This weekend is homecoming at Baylor and it was also my best friend Debi's birthday. I drove down to Denton  to eat at Red Lobster, go to life group, and then go out with Debi and her friends. Red lobster was sadly disappointing the biscuits were very doughy and the dinner just not satisfying. Food has been that way lately for me just not anything I want or very satisfying in general but c'est la vive. We went to her life group afterward and it was interesting, it was very interactive but I felt unprepared because of not doing the homework. The lifegroup went on forever. We then got ready and drove to Cowboy's which is a dance hall/ western bar type place. It was college night so they played NO western music!!!

I had the worst migraine when I woke up Saturday morning. So I didn't get to Waco till like almost 6 o'clock and I had to drive in the worst traffic. It took me 3 hours which normally takes only and hour and a half. Drew and I are completely obsessed with this show Dexter. He started watching it when I was studying for my community test and spend 36 hours of his next week watching episode after episode and that weekend got me hooked !!! We just finished watching the season finale of season four. It was the most depressing episode and his wife was killed by the serial killing he was hunting. We should go to bed but were too depressed.

We went to the homecoming game tonight and we won 42 to 39. We went to Taco Bell afterwards with Drew's parents which is close to tradition. We also talked about wedding idea with his parents. Well its time to morn Rita aka dexter's wife. :(
