Drew comes to visit :)

Drew got home for his first visit on Friday, I worked that morning so I took a nice nap and was woke up by him calling telling me he was 13 mins away! I was so excited. We had grill cheeses and watched Cold case a typically us night :). We are used to our early bedtimes so we already in bed by 10 o'clock.    On Saturday I got up for work and came to the realization that I very much might have pink eye. I was worried about calling in so I went to work and was going to talk to the charge nurse which after the NNP looked at me we decided it was best since it is so contagious and we have a compromised population I would go home. I was sad because I love my job but slightly excited for this to happen while Drew was home. I came home and went back to bed. I assumed Drew would sleep in to at least 12 well at the lovely hour of 930.The lights were thrown on and my covers were thrown off and my lovely fiance bounced onto the bed and woke me up. I would have killed him but I had pulled similar stunts. We got his rental car switched out and then he dropped me off at the doctors. The doctor gave me antibiotics for my eyes. We went big grocer shopping and then made a stop at the pet store for Mr.Froggy. We ended up spoiling him silly and got him a really nice new tank. We went home and set it up which took 40 trips from the bathroom and put it in the office. It looks really nice and Mr. Froggy loves it ! By the time we had it set up and moved him into the tank it was time for dinner. I wanted seafood so we got Red Lobster and Drew agreed that instead of going to a movie we could get Fro-yo which I am a little but obsessed with :) It was a great night and Drew told me that He wished he could get excited about things like I do, I thought that was so sweet because that's who I am and I just love that he loves who I am and appreciates it ! We went to bed early again after watching psych. Today, I am finishing laundry and making spaghetti, I love being a housewife and serving my future husband. 2 more weeks till he is home again :)

Weekend

Well Drew left me on Sunday and I was super sad :( He is going to be in Houston for 9 weeks and pretty excited about it but after that he will be all mine again. I did get good news yesterday that he gets to come home week 2,4.6, and 8 !!! The girls were here all weekend and we had a wonderful time of course!

Friday- Meaghan got here probably around 8 and we went to dinner at BJ because I had it before in houston and it was delicious. Well we were starving when we got there so we asked for some bread and the waiter was quite weird. I ordered  steak and when it finally arrived I tried it and it was  overdone, this is seriously so depressing for me . It like I just want a steak! Well Drew told the waiter and the manager came over and talked to us and got me another steak which the managed to screw up again. FRUSTATION!!! Well by then I was just over it and took my steak home. The manager was wonderful tho and paid for my steak and gave us free dessert. Meaghan is on the atkins diet and got a steak as well with tortilia soup but no tortilia on top well her steak came out Mexican style lol with the tortilia chips on top. WEIRD but the manager covered her too! So not such a great experience but at least the manager tried to make up for it. The night made for some interesting conversation. Drew and I had our first big fight as a couple living together. Best part it was over the coffee table. More specifically it was over Drew putting his smelly feet on our coffee table. It really was thrown out of propotion I will not deny that. But its a nice glass coffee table and I DONT want feet on it. Feet are gross and its proper not to put your feet on my table. The fight was not really solved but we were resume the conversation at a later time I am sure.

Saturday- We drove to Dallas to get Alex and then went to Meaghan's favoriate mall to go shoppi ng. She had a very successful trip and I got a couple little things like bows, heart shaped sunglasses and a t-shirt. We had to go to Kohls and get Drew some dress pants and ended up getting him some shirt as well. He really did need some new ones. Since our BJs dinner was not the best we decided on cheesecake factory for dinner which we knew would be satisfying! I got one of my normals which is Pasta Dai Vinici. Alex was with us and slowly losing his patience and not feeling well and sneezing everywhere and so we got to go boxes and headed home.

Sunday- Drew left around noon :( and I cried of course :( but at least the girls were here to keep me company we went and got Chinese food and had pedicures :) Somehow pictures escaped us this weekend saddly but it isn't like we don't have a million from other weekends. I just know I am really blessed to have such amazing friends.

WEDDING UPDATE--- I have officially picked colors for the wedding turquoise blue, yellow and grey! I know this isn't a huge deal but its a start. I can't wait to marry Drew!!!

Well I am off for the next two days which is super weird feeling and I already miss the babies! but I will be with them soon enough.

Is it normal to live with your parents past the age of 24?

It depends on several circumstances. Do you have a job? If the answer is yes than you should probably move out and start your own life. If you are living with them you should be actively looking for a job so that you can start your own life. 

Is it normal to leave your house and/or car unlocked?

No never, unless you want to have your car broken into or  are perfectly fine with finding unwelcome and possibly dangerous guest in your home

Is it normal to prefer using a men's razor instead of a women's?

I would say yes, sometimes they are just better! 

Is it normal to go back to bed right after showering for a quick nap?

I don't do this but I still think it is normal of course I believe there is no bad time to nap!! 

Is it normal to eat chocolate chips straight from the bag?

If your female and on your period YES but even if you aren't either of those Yes completely normal and completely wonderful

Is it normal to check behind the shower curtain or under the bed before you get in?

Haha well I never considered myself normal so I will admit to totally doing this and even checking closets and windows but I have some anixety issues so for me it is normal but for other people I am gonna have to go with NOT NORMAL.   

Is it normal to talk to yourself?

I don't know if I call it normal but I think majority of people do, It seems I talk to myself when I am not alone, weird hmm.. something to ponder on.

Is it normal to bite your nails?

No not normal it's called a bad habit for a reason, I do it but still not normal!

Is it normal to go to bed without brushing your teeth?

I think so as long as you brush them when you get up, it feels alot nicer to have them brushed tho!

Is it normal to "baby talk" your pet?  

Yes it is completely normal, we baby talk to our turtle all the time and they are like babies and who doesn't love to baby talk a baby!
