Hair: blondish it has gotten lighter

Eyes: blue (crystal blue ) I love her eyes

Clothes: Still in newborn but slowly outgrowing a few things, She can wear some 3 month carter outfits they are just kinda baggy. I still love dressing her up and she always has a matching headband.

Diapers: Still in size 1

Milestones: She really smiles big like melts my heart smiles and I love it !! She also loves to "talk".She also really watches things like her mobile or her toys and she is hitting toys on her play mat and when they are dangling on her car seat. She also had fantastic head control.

Eating: We are still breastfeeding !!!  Izzy has still never had formula. She did have 2 bottles. Her first one was on mother's day and she took an oz and then last Friday she took one. She had a little bit of trouble going back to breast so we are going to try a more paced bottle feeding approach. She had a huge growth spurt last week and was eating every hour both sides for up to 30 mins. Since her growth spurt she eats about 10-15 mins and occasionally will eat from both sides.

Sleeping: Sleep really is a luck of the draw. Yesterday she sleep 8.5 hours. Seriously a miracle but since her growth spurt she had been waking up every 3-4 hours to nurse. I have been trying to get her on a schedule whic has been unsuccessful. She sometimes takes long naps and other times just will cat nap. We do now have a bedtime routine where we get a bath, books, and boobs and then bed. The 4 B's :) Still sleeping in her rock and play in mom and dad's room

Momma: Still doing great :) I love my little girl so much. I did have a nice girls night with my besties but I missed my baby. I go back to work monday and its gonna be so hard already crying just thinking of leaving my little girl.

Daddy: Daddy has been working a ton :( but he still watches her when he gets home and loves to talk to her and sing her song. I think he is going to enjoy his time with her while mommy works.

Favorite Baby Items:

-Jellycat octopus lovie- I dont know if she likes it or mommy just wants her to but we have been carrying it with us when we leave the house. Its super soft

1 month post ( a little bit late)

Weight: 8 lbs 8

Height: 21 in

Likes: sleeping on mom and dad, whale paci, tummy time on your bobby, having your diaper changed, daddy, bicycle legs, car, swing

Dislikes: wet diaper, gas pains, bath time

Hair: light brown, blondish it really depends on the lighting

Eyes: Dark blue with a light blue center

Clothes: Still in newborn but we have outgrown one outfit. The Dad and Me crab sleeper. We still have a least a good 2 weeks in our sleepers.

Diapers: We are finishing out the newborn and are transitioning into size 1 because we had several boxes from our shower.

Milestones: She has rolled over twice mostly an accident related to her large head, we have mostly had gas smiles or sleep smiles but no real real smiles yet. I might have heard a coo or two but it was hard to tell if it was that or part of her cries.

Eating: We are still breastfeeding and mommy is extremely proud to say even with all the yeast infections and mastitis. Izzy has never had formula. I have never been more determined to do anything in my life than I have to breast feed. She eats every 1.5-2.5 hours during the day and normally at night we get one 4-5 hour stretch. We typically eat about 10 mins but she only eats on one side.

Sleeping: Izzy must have taken a note from her mommy on sleeping. Because she really has been a great baby. She has no sort of schedule but at night she normal sleeps a 4-5 hour stretch and then eats and goes back done for 3 hours. I really can complain and she naps whenever she feels like it.

Momma: I am doing fantastic. I absolutely love being a mommy. I didn't even have any case of the baby blues. I kept waiting for them but all I felt was happiness and excitement. BF kept me so busy that eating really was second on my mind and I was in my pregnancy clothes way sooner than I thought,

Daddy: Daddy was able to work from home the first week. Which was a HUGE help. We were able to get ourselves a routine and at least a handle on BF. He is such an amazing dad. I will openly admit that Izzy prefers him. They already have this special little bond. He is such a huge help and supporter in my BF. He always is asking how can he help me and if I need anything when I'm nursing.

Favorite Baby Items:
-Dr. Browns paci - She loves her whale paci. These paci are slightly harder to find. I think its a little bit easier for her to keep it in her mouth.

Vibration Elephant- She really likes that this elephant not only plays lullabies but also vibrates. We even take it on the go sometimes.

-Stroller Caddy- I really debated on whether on no to register for one and if we would really need it. Well I LOVE mine it makes going out of the house 10 times easier. It so easy to fold and light weight.

-Moby- We love our moby. Izzy loves to be carried and close to us and it helps me when she is having a fussy moment and I need to get some stuff done. I even wore her shopping the other day. The wrapping takes practice but its really not that hard and you can watch a youtube video to get started.

Mommy club

I feel like yesterday was my induction into the mommy club. I have taken Izzy out of the house quite a few times and for the most part it was pretty smooth sailing. Well yesterday was my postpartum check up and so I figured we could also run some errands. The morning started off with her waking up soaked so I changed her and just threw on a onesie until it was time to leave. We had semi established a routine for feeding which she threw out this particular morning. Luckily she slept most of the hour drive to the office but once we got to Dr. P and of course she was hungry so I fed her. She almost makes such a mess when she eaTs. I really should just fed her naked. So her adorable outfit was wet but she wasn't too upset so I was just going to leave her be but then she majorly spits up all over herself and even a little on mommy. So by now I have turned the waiting room into my own personal area between several burp cloths and changing her clothes and then a diaper change. I really felt like the office staff must have been laughing behind the desk like look at this first time mom, shes a hot mess. Not that I take any offense to that. I am a first time mom and I am still learning. So we finally get called back to the exam room where she decided to start crying. I offer her to eat and she kinda half snacks which of course then the doctor comes back sees I'm feeding and says he would let me finish and come back. She eats for all of 3 mins and then this time when o burp her she proceeds to spit up everywhere. All down my shirt, skirt even in my shoe which were off for being weighted. This is her second outfit and I didn't bring a third so she just hung out in her spit up soaked onesie for now. After my apt we met aunt taylor for lunch. Luckily that was uneventful other than feeding in the parking lot but that happens 75 percent of the time I'm out. Then we headed to the mall but didn't make it far because she was crying in the backstreet. I figured she was wet so I pulled over in a gas station and changed her  Because my daughter HATES a wet diaper. Finally back on the road headed to the mall to return something. We get to the mall and she does well for the next hour. She was fine until we got to jcpennies and I started trying things on. I went to change her diaper and came to the realization that I didn't have any more diapers #mommyfail lol  So I realized I was gonna need to feed her and go. She once again made such a mess eating and was soaked so I actually ended up buying a 2 outfit set in the store. She was hating her wet diaper so while I'm checking out at jcpenny's I end up having to put my moby on to carry her. I'm sure the check out lady thought I was crazy. I mean I just whip out a huge piece of fabric and start wrapping my self with it. Luckily, that fixed her fit and we made it to the car in one piece. However, I will say breaking down her stroller while wearing her was not easy. I changed her clothes and her diaper. I had come up with a brilliant idea to keep an entire package of diapers in my car thank God. She was dry,fed and content. We headed to get daddy's dry cleaning and just as we headed to our second to last stop she started wailing so I pulled into sonic. She is bright red and screaming by this time. I immediately pulled her out of her car seat and am comforting her when I look down and realize that she managed to poop all out of her diaper and on her new outfit and now on the Moby wrap. I take off the wrap and proceed to clean her up. It was everywhere I mean I have not idea how she got her hands in it . I was thinking is this really happening .Finally ,she was ready to go again. We still had two more stops lol. I ended up enlisting the help of my mom which ended up being the light at the end of the tunnel. We finished our errads and finally got home in one piece. It was quite the adventure in mother hood hut I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Here is how we started the day off

So sweet

Aww, this is after her 5th outfit change and her big blow out at sonic
