Likes: being chased,all forms of music ( especially her musical toys- like Beat Bo and her guitar) , dancing, great papa playing the guitar, stacking cups, baby puffs, balls, her raspberry teether, her daddy, cuddling, books, being tickled, escaping the barrier, dogs, plastic Easter eggs and car and things with wheels 

Dislikes: not being able to leave her barrier in the living room, changing.diaper, strangers,being overtired, being frustrated  

Hair: a tad darker blonde

Eyes: still blue 

Clothes: 6 month some 6-9 month, 9 month sleepers

Diapers: size 3

Milestones: She has gotten to be a speed crawler, she loves exploring but will generally crawl back to check that mommy or daddy is still where she left them. She will cruise along the furniture but if you take her hands to have her walk she will immediately sit down on the ground. She loves to mimic sounds and sometimes when you say "I Love you" it sounds like she says it back. She loves to babble still but doesn't say any new words just yet. She just learned how to shake her head no but I don't think she associates it with the word just yet.  She has two ways of dancing if she is sitting she will raise her hands up in the air and if she is standing she will kinda wiggle/ sway. She does a lot more self play which is wonderful for us. She celebrated her first Christmas and new years. She was such a fun age for opening presents but was in general more interested with the bows or paper than what was inside. She also took her first plane ride to AZ to visit all of my family. She actually did really well both directions. This last month, she seems to have really started changing from my little baby to a toddler which has been sad but exciting. This last week has been rough she had a pretty bad cold which turned into an ear infection and pink eye all while she is getting her first tooth. 

Eating: She still is nursing on demand. For about 3 weeks she had a sort of schedule where she would mostly nurse when she woke up and when she went to sleep but with being sick she has done alot of comfort nursing. Somedays she is really into solids and other days not so much. She LOVES puffs she will eat all favors and at all times. She also really likes cherrios.If I want her to stop fussying for a second I just give her a handful of puffs or cherrios. Since I haven't been working she hasn't really been taking any bottles. I dont pump anymore at home just whenever I am away from her or miss a feeding. 

Sleeping: The time change in AZ really mess us up. Her bedtime is now around 9 o'clock but it also means she doesn't typically get up until 830-9 in the morning. That is not in a row she still wakes up at minimum 2 times but mostly 3 or on a rough night 4 times to nurse. She sleeps in the pack and play and with us depending on the night. She mostly takes 2 naps but occasionally  she will take a very long afternoon nap only

9 Months

Likes: exploring, crawling, pulling up, her activity cube,being read too, cuddling, chasing the dogs, our Christmas tree, cords, the dog food, anything she knows she isn't suppose to have 

Dislikes: exactly the same as last month-being buckled in the car seat, changing.diaper or clothes, vacuum,strangers,tiny dogs, being overtired, and elevators, Santa

Hair: blonde and growing

Eyes: still blue 

Clothes: still 3-6 month, 6 month sleepers and 6 month carters

Diapers: size 2, just order size 3

Milestones: She is crawling everywhere and pulling up on everything, She was traditionally crawling and then when we were at my moms house she kept slipping on the tile so she discovered crawling with her right foot up and now she crawls like that everywhere. she is getting quicker and is starting to get into trouble. She can pull herself to standing on just about anything. She also says mama all the time and occasionally will say dada. She also says yum. She loves when you read to her and just smiles the whole time. She will babble for hours, very talkative just like her mama. She still laughs when you say no and right before she is getting in trouble she will look back at me and then continue with her mission. She is getting better at her pincer but its not quite there. She signs milk. She is a true diva and when she does not get her way throws her self back and screams.She is a lot of interactive with her peers and friends.We also celebrated her first thanksgiving and went on a roadtrip to Dallas.

Eating: She really just nurses whenever she feels like it typically its a short 2 min snack and she is back to play. She takes at least 2 4oz feeds when I work but sometimes will take a 3rd feed. Breast milk is still her main source of nutrition. She still loves to eat and really enjoyed thanksgiving and Christmas meals. She is eating more and still not very picky.  She enjoys some of the baby squeezables and baby mum mums. She feeds herself really well with both her hands and a spoon. She can also use a sippy cup pretty well. She also loves baby puffs.

Sleeping: Cosleeping is what is working for us. She has been rough for the last couple of weeks, waking up 3-5 times a night and just crying but we are almost through this lately wonder week and hope she starts to sleep better. She is consistently taking 2 naps that are 1-2 hours. She typically goes to bed around 7/8ish and wakes up between 7-9 depending on how well she sleep.

We also made 3 attempts to get a good santa picture!!!

Try 1: All Star Family Grill - She actually did pretty well. She cried then looked at him and then cried some more. 

Try 2: Bass Pro Shop Santa with Taylor and Ellie- She was sound asleep and as soon as we took the picture woke right up

Third Attempt: Mall Santa- I was prepared that I might be in the picture so I dressed cute this time and she didn't want to go to Santa alone so I sat next to them and got a great picture! 

I love this little girl so much my heart is so full!!!
