Last Football Game as a Baylor Student

I can not believe the semester is almost over it really has flown by. We had our last football game against  UT yesterday. WE WON 48 to 24. It was an awesome game filled with 4 interceptions and 2 fumble returns. Luckily, Drew's parents take care of me and mentioned that it was gonna poor so we went to academy and I got a rain jacket :) It was a pretty good deal its a nice Columbia jacket and its water proof and lime green. I officially call it my turtle jacket. We went to red lobster for dinner and it was very good. I got Drew to ask his parents if I could call them Mom and Dad since I have almost done so and I mean it isn't like they aren't gonna be. They of course said that was fine :) Idk why I was so nervous about it. The game was at 230 on Saturday afternoon and we went tailgating for the first time. I know I'm a senior at Baylor and I never have been tailgating. I also never ran the Baylor line, pathetic I KNOW! That is partly because Debi and I were always late to the games. So anyway this time we wanted to do it right :) It took me a good hour the night before to decide on my last football game outfit and by the end of it Drew was ready to strangle me. I of course decided on the first outfit I tried on. We tailgated with his Dad's aunt's. It was a lot of fun and I'm sad I missed out on it for almost 4 years. Most excited thing was that Drew and I ran the baylor line :) It was an anxiety producing activity and I relieved that is why I never felt compelled to do so. I ran into several friends I hadn't seen in a while which was also nice.  It was still fun cheering on the players and we got good seats for a FULL, SOLD OUT GAME. I took a zillion of pictures cause I mean it was our LAST GAME. I mean if we end up in Dallas like I think we will, than we can go to some of the home games but it's just not the same. After the game we didn't rush the field but we did go play on it. Drew and his mom kept wrestling and I tried to tackle him unsuccessfully in order to take more pictures. Someday he will appreciated all my beautiful pictures. :)  After Drew's dad and I had to pull the "childern" away we went to Geroges. We went to the hotel after we finished eating and I showed Drew's mom some of the venues I am looking at . Two of them that are close to Rosenberg/Katy are Great Oak Manor and Briscoe Manor. Both very nice places. BTW I have to rant for like half a second I know I don't have a ring yet but to me engagement is just a formality. I know I'm marrying Drew and spending my life with him why can't I start planning now instead of having to freak out and plan it like in 6 months. Don't get me wrong I do want a ring but all that really matters is that we both have decided we want to marry another the rest is seriously just a waiting game. So if Drew says to calm down and stop looking at stuff than I will but he is fine with it :)

Love,
Elisabeth
