Rain clouds and Rainbows

So today was my evaluation for clinical. I got my first C+ in nursing school . I'm upset obviously.  Grades are extremely important to me and I'm just not typically a C student. I had quite the meltdown in my instructors offices for a good 30-45 minutes, I'm sure that really showed my maturity. Basically I was in B range but because of my tardiness to SIM lab and hyper behavior on the last day it pushed me to a C. I understand their rational in giving it to me and they were not trying to be mean and spiteful. I just am more disappointed in myself. The good news is that it really motivates me to work that much harder. As per result from my instructors I am gonna focus on the positive.

So here are somethings that will make me an awesome nurse.

- I am a happy person
- I love my profession
- I am extremely caring
- I care about my performance
-  I am smart
-  I make my patient my priority
- I care about the details
- I love making people smile
- I commit to everything I do 100%


Here is  List of things to tell myself
- Grades are just a number
-Grades do not define me.
-One C is not gonna take away my dream of becoming a nurse
- One C will not take away all the hard work I have done
- One C will not completely ruin my GPA
- I worked hard this semester and it was a hard semester.

Wow it is amazing how much I feel better,
