My 22nd Birthday

I have been sooo busy. I literally just did school week this weekend. I had 14 things to do on my list and that doesn't count all the things for this week on my list. Also I am trying to find a job which is not easy as you would think for a nursing grad. BUMC is only opening 98 positions and they have 13 hospitals !!! There are 10 NICU positions but I am really coming to the realization im just probably gonna have to work med/surg for a year and two and transition into the L&D or NICU. I am applying for UT southwestern as well.  I am going home to see my family tomorrow and super excited :) I do want to post about my 22nd birthday weekend.

Friday- My clinical ended up being changed to Friday instead of Thursday so I spend form 8-4 at the BUMC employee health center. It was a good experience just left me a little exhausted for the night. Debi did not end up getting to my apartment till around 6pm and we didn't get to Austin until 1030ish and we were starving. We has already planned on going to cheesecake factory so Meagan called to make sure that they were still gonna be open and they were so we headed there.

We were so tired when we got home I crashed.

Saturday- Taylor and Matt arrived promptly at 11am and of course we were not ready. We went to whataburger for lunch and then went to the outlet mall and shopped. We were mostly there for Drew to  find his new "everyday tennis shoes". He has like 20 pairs of shoes but he said he has to plan an outfit to wear them. lol So we did find a nice pair of "everyday shoes" and he also found some really cool purple ones. We finished driving to San Antonio and went to Dicks Last Resort. My Dad had taken me several times but I wasn't old enough to eat inside so we always ate at the picnic tables and they are a little nicer outside as well.

We all got little dick hats with rude phrases but they really aren't appropriate ;) We had fun throwing paper but the food was horrible. I mean worst food I have ever had to pay for. We just grinned and bear it. We had to rush home to try and get ready for 6th street. Meaghan  had blue raspberry vodka that me mixed with blue power aid. It was good. I was definitely tipsy by the time we left. My friends would argue that I was gone.

End of the night lol, im being silly, Drew litterally gave me the shirt off of his back because I was sooo cold!

The night was a lot of fun and I loved spending it with the people I care about most. 

Sunday we went waterbiking. It was actually really fun until... Micheal tipped Meaghan and himself in the lake. It was funny tho but I would have killed drew. 

I have to save my best friend the embarrassment of her looking soaked but I do have pictures lol. Well that is about it. I will not see drew for 2 more weekends because I am so busy and I have HESI in 15 days. Ahhh I can not wait too graduate.
