So where do I start!!! I am employed, engaged and I have an apartment.
So the festivities of Sunday were a COMPLETE shock! I serious had not idea and this is apparent by my obvious lack of hair brushing, my outfit and my shoes! but that doesn't matter because it was absolutely perfect. We had this senior trip planned through Baylor to return to Independence as Senior because as Freshman many people went with out line camp and tieing loose ends kind of feeling. I debated that morning on wearing jean shorts and a green Baylor shirt but was like nah I'm more comfortable in a dress so I changed. Drew wasn't feeling well so I wasn't sure if we would end up going. I told him he should shave ( at the time he thought I knew something but I didn't) we made jokes about Henry guarding the ring in his duffle bag and shared half a sandwich from our favorite restaurant in Rosenberg. We left and little did I know what awaited me. The bus drive was 2 and a half hours in which I studied for the most part.

I did my make-up toward the end of the ride( and once again he thought I knew and even asked why are you putting on make-up) I was like because I want to or something like that. He managed to get the ring out of the backpack and into his pocket after we arrived. I was in Elisabeth world and completely oblivious to him. We got off the bus and were asked to wait patiently as the other people got off. The guy (Derek) welcomed us( the group) and then asked for Drew for a minute and another person. He of course grabbed me. The whole time I'm thinking what is this about I and why did he bring me I can't lift anything. The guy tell us to look over there for a minute. I look and all of a sudden all of our friends and family rush out from behind the house. They were holding a sign that says Marry Me Liz.

I looked at everyone there and wondered if I was in a fairy tale or if this was a dream. I still don't really 100 perfect realize what is going on but then Drew gets down on one knee and pulls out the box. The whole crowd is saying Awee!! He is holding the beautiful tacori box that I had pictured in my head way to many times. I finally snap into reality.
He looks at me and I look at him and I know he is about to start his speech and ask me the most important question of my life.
"I
tried to write a speech but no words could convey the feelings that I felt ,
but something I do know that the first time I met you, you were the happiest
person in the room, and I want to continue to make you the happiest person in the room. So will you do me the honor and
the privilege of becoming my wife until the end of time”
I said " YES"
Then we had a massive photo shot! That I know my future husband really enjoyed! :p
