7 Months

Weight: 15lbs 8oz (20%)
Likes: playing peek a boo, her egg from citrus lane, her little bitty football, her Juju, sitting in the highchair and eating, shaking her head, mommy saying No, being carried, dumping her box of toys, Sophia the first, clapping, her walker and jumparoo, crawl with me turtle, chew beads, riding on daddy's shoulders

Dislikes: anyone expect mommy, daddy and Juju, being held still, being left alone or put down

Hair: blonde and has really grown
Eyes: still blue

Clothes:
still 3-6 month, 6 month sleepers and has outgrown a couple 3 month carters outfit

Diapers: size 2

Milestones: She is finally rolling both front to back and is slowly learning she can use it to get to where she wants. Its so fun to watch her personality develop. She laughs more and will talk to herself in the car seat for several mins. She loves emphasizing certain words like she is really telling you what she thinks. She can sit up unassisted for several mins and then will normally topple over and roll away. She started clapping this weekend and whenever she does something she wants you to clap for her. She also likes to rock on her bottom  especially to music. Still doing baby sign language with her and hoping she will soon catch on. Still no teeth but her gums definitely are bothering her.

Eating:  She has eating less the last couple weeks just too interested in the world to stop and nurse so sometimes during the day she will go 4 hours without eating which is so weird to get used to especially when she used to eat every 1-2 hours. She is eating solid food. We are doing baby led weaning so she eats pretty much what we eat she has tried pickles, avocado, squash, zucchini, potato, onion, apple, pear, watermelon, papaya, yogurt, pickle, mushroom, beef, chicken, pasta, bread, oatmeal, carrots, cucumber, eggs, cheese, eggplant ,and pizza and Im sure so things I forgot. There isn't anyway to tell how much she actually swallowed but she enjoyed it non the less. Still mostly gets her nutrition from breast milk. She is taken typically a 3-4 oz bottle when I work 3-4 times at night. She will sometimes eat 2 times a night or sometimes its like 4-5. She is definitely making up for not eating during the day in those night hours.

Sleeping: She is officially in the crib at night!!! She starts every night in the crib and then typically when she wakes for her 2/3am feeding we put her in her pack in play in our room. She is still not a great sleeping or napper but finally not waking every 3 hours. She is mostly down to 2-3 naps a day and still short cat naps. She also enjoys waking up between 5-6 in the morning.

Friends: Ellie is still her bestie but we haven't seen her much this month because she has had a bad ear infection and we have been busy with football season. We have been so busy with play groups this month we went to the zoo, had a fun day with rainbow spaghetti- which Izzy absolutely loved, went to a Texans party, met 2 girls I work with at the children's museum, went to giggles and fun, went to dewberry and blessington, hosted for our baby play group and finally went to our playgroup's Halloween party. We are very active!!! The next two weeks are crazy busy and then hopefully we can have a slower November. Izzy also got to meet two of my best friends from college at the last football game. They of course loved her.
