Weight: 10.5lb was the last weight she has and it was a good 3 weeks ago which is 15% for weight
Height: 23.23 at last appointment which is 64% in height
Likes: standing, splashing, all forms of water (bath time, swimming, and putting her feet in our sink) ,soft things, her mobile, laying on her back so she can kick her legs, daddy singing to her, being talked to, and her hands, toys she can shake
Dislikes: being hungry, overtired, scary noises, being hot, being lonely and bored
Hair: blondish sometimes it looks like it has a red hue
Eyes: still blue (everyone comments on how gorgeous her eyes are)
Clothes: finally graduated to 3-6 months, she can still wear newborn pants and everything is a tad big but were getting there
Diapers: Still in size 1
Milestones: She has discovered her hands, she loves to put them in her mouth and suck on her fingers, she also giggled for the first time yesterday it was the sweetest little sound, she "talks" all the time and has quite the personality developing, She gets very upset when she is enjoying something and you change what she is doing. She can grasp toys and her lovies. She still loves to "stand" but not such a fan of sitting up but were working on it. She is also majorly drooling and blowing spit bubbles. We also celebrated Lala's birthday, had a birthday party for juju, and celebrated father's day.
Eating: We are still breastfeeding and going strong !!! Izzy has still never had formula and we have quite the supply in the freezer. Judie and Garlan got us a deep freeze for a combines mother's father's day present..She gets bottles now when mommy is at work but I'm not sure she is a fan because she really only takes 4-6oz. She sometimes will go longer stretches without eating 3 hours during the day but other days she hangs out at the breast all day. We really aren't on any schedule :/ but I enjoy our carefree attitude. She eats 10-15 mins on sometimes one side or occasionally both sides. I think she can sense when I'm about to leave because she tends to nurse alot longer during that last feed. When I get home from work she does this thing where first she has to smile at the boobs before she will latch and eat its like she is saying "hello boobs I missed you". Sometimes that morning smile really makes leaving her slightly easier.
Sleeping: She regularly sleeps through the night which is such a blessing and has been doing it for a month now.She sleeps anywhere from 6-12 hours. We still follow her bedtime routine and this is where daddy really steps in and helps. He has it down packed. He has also added singing her songs to help her fall asleep and its precious.
Momma: I officially when back to work. My first night was going great until it was announced due to increment weather we would be forced to stay to we were dismissed at the latest 11 oclock. So my first night away from my baby was a extremely long one. Now that I am back at work, I am less worried about the bottles and even let drew feed her one so I could go get my hair cut. I felt like a new mommy after that my hair was a really big hot mess. Every time I have to leave her is hard but coming home to my baby all smiles and feeling like she missed me make it just a tad easier plus I know I am extremely valuable at work especially since we have been very busy on the unit.
Daddy: He has still been absolutely amazing. He even watched her so mommy could have a nice little night out with friends. He has mastered her bedtime routine and never complains when he comes home and I ask if he can help out or sometimes just leave him to it. He is so precious with his little girl and she definitely loves her daddy. He celebrating his first father's day by bringing her to Juju and Papa's chuch and then watching her so mommy could make us some $$$
Friends: Our main friend is still baby Ellie but we have gone on several play dates and had lunch with baby Meredith who is only 5 days older. I actually met her mommy through craigslist. It is where we got her crib, changing table and rocker.
Happy 3 months old Izzy
