Isabella's Nursery
When I found out that she was a girl I knew that I had to decorate her nursery in a under the sea theme. I found the perfect one by Carters. It actually had been discounted and made finding the pieces extremely hard. Especially the mobile, Both my mom and father in law looked EVERYwhere for it. My father in law even tried to contact Carters about getting it. I would check eBay, amazon, and just google it daily. It was slightly ridiculous. My mom and I actually ended up finding it both and we ended up with 2 mobiles. Well since then Kohl's has actually restarted carrying it. We painted in December or more Drew and my father in law painted and I took a nice long nap. I had such a hard time decided on a color but finally Drew decided on the blue and Its such a great calming color. My mother in law did have to do a second coat and some touch ups since Drew may have painted the ceiling.
We used the gift card that Grannie and Pawpaw had given us for a housewarming gift
The changing table, crib and glider were all Craig list purchases. We actually bonded over it and are friends with the sellers. She actually has a daughter 5 days older than Izzy. I made those tissue paper creatures when I was on modified best rest for a week in November. I borrowed the idea from a girl on etsy. I am really proud how they turned out. However, It might have been slightly cheaper to just buy them rather than make them.
I got this at hobby lobby during Christmas. It was perfect.
Taylor's cousin made this octopus for my diaper cake. She even added a bow.
Another etsy find. She makes all sort of custom one. We have a matching one for the closet with a whale on it. They both match the theme perfectly.
Ali made that Izzy sign for my baby shower.
This letters might be my favorite thing I bought for the nursery. She also does any theme you can come up with. The were expensive but worth every penny. Seriously check out her store its amazing and so well done.
The mobile we looked everywhere for. When she outgrows it I'm actually gonna cut the strings so she can play with the stuffed animals.
The cube I got from Ikea, along with her nightstand. My friends and I made her bow frame.
